About Steeple Guard
Start or strengthen your church safety plan, with AI doing the heavy lifting.
Why we exist
Every week, families walk through church doors trusting they'll be welcomed and cared for. Most churches don't have a security budget or a professional on staff. They have faithful volunteers who want to do this well. Steeple Guard exists to help them start or strengthen their own safety plan, using AI to draft the paperwork while their team makes the decisions.
We believe church safety is a form of stewardship: caring well for the people God has entrusted to you. That means preparation without panic, awareness without suspicion, and hospitality first.
Experience behind the guidance
Steeple Guard was started by a longtime deacon and former church safety team leader who worked in private security to learn how to better safeguard a church, and brought each lesson straight into building and leading a volunteer safety team of more than a dozen people. The lessons in our guides come from real Sunday mornings: medical calls during worship, icy parking lots, and the quiet work of training volunteers.
We keep the focus on the guidance rather than on a personality. You won't find faces or personal profiles here, just practical help.
What we believe
- Pray and keep watch. Prayer and preparation belong side by side (Nehemiah 4:9).
- Hospitality first. A good safety team makes a church feel more welcoming, not less.
- Medical readiness matters most. The most likely emergencies are medical, so training starts there.
- No fear-mongering. We write calmly and plainly, without tactical jargon or scare tactics.
Know your limits. We offer general educational guidance and AI drafting help, not security services, training certification, or legal advice. Your insurer, local law enforcement, an attorney, and qualified professionals give specific advice.
How we work
Steeple Guard is a content resource. We don't offer consultations, calls, or direct messages. Our FAQ and articles are designed to answer common questions. All of our videos use an AI-generated presenter and voice, which we always disclose. Our articles include sample AI prompts so your team can draft its own plan.
Over time, we plan to be reader-supported through affiliate links and, in the future, our Kindle book. Recommendations are never for sale. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
